While you are in Gilgit-Baltistan, one of the must places worth seeing is valley of Astore, home to the famous Deosai National Park. Astore is one of the ten districts of GB with a moderate climate during summer, and extreme cold during winter. While in Gilgit City, friends planned to visit  Deosai Plains and the Archmaester who planned this trip from scratch was our dear friend Wazir Waqar alias Baba/Baby, and Waqar being a native of Astore acted as the best tour guide.  Deosai plains is accessible either by Astore or Skardu and we chose to travel by Astore. After an hour's drive from Naran, awaits the majestic  Lulusar  lake.   Lulusar Lake The next stop is the  well-known   Babusar  Top at an elevation of 13,690ft. We stopped for almost an hour at this place, clicked a few snaps and started o...
